This privacy policy describes how Muslim Prayer & Adhan Times ("the app," "we," "us") handles information when you use the app.
Location data. The app uses your device's location (precise or approximate, depending on what you grant) to:
We do not store your location on any server we operate — we don't operate a backend server at all. Your location is used only to make these two API requests and is not retained by us afterward.
Locally stored preferences. Your selected calculation method, notification preferences, and last-used location are stored only on your device (in local app storage), so they persist between app sessions. This information is never uploaded to us or any third party, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
What we do not collect. The app has no user accounts, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not collect your name, email, contacts, or any other personal identifiers.
Stability Monitoring. To help us identify and fix technical issues, the app uses Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes or encounters a serious error, it sends anonymous technical information (such as your device model, OS version, and the stack trace of the error) to us. This data is not linked to you personally and is used solely to improve the app's stability.
Because the app sends your coordinates (and, for search, your query text) to Aladhan and LocationIQ to provide their respective features, your use of those features is also subject to those providers' own privacy policies:

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Since all app-specific data lives locally on your device, uninstalling the app removes it completely. We retain no copy of it elsewhere.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
